Battery checker - Micronta battery checker sold by Radio Shack gives power levels for D, C, AA, AAA, N and 9-volt batteries: A range of different batteries slot into place and a needle reads the strength of the charge. A reading in the green zone indicates good. A reading in the red zone indicates dead (replace or charge). If the reading is in the yellow zone, the battery is weak and has a limited life. This product checks zinc-carbon (standard), alkaline, mercury and nickel cadmium (when charged) batteries.
